Garry Conn's Strategy - Can It Work For Me?
I was over at Garry Conn's Blog yesterday and printed off his latest Tips
for making money off a Blog. I am totally impressed with his work ethic
and what he has achieved but the underlying factor is the "work" and
hours punched to keep up the pace he has set for himself.
He is a self-proclaimed Google Adsense guru and I believe it. To summarize
his first blogging tip is that to maximize his revenue from Google Adsense
he couldn't rationalize getting enough traffic to one blog to earn what he
wanted from AdSense so he went to work and developed 125 blogs. In total
they make $250 to $450 a day combined.

His personal blog Garry Conn dot Com earned him $146.03 for March alone.
He has another blog that deals with vision and eyeglasses which again brings
in about $150 a month.
Impressive, to say the least, but can I do what he is doing? It looks like to me
he has a template for producing successful blogs. Once he had one where it
was receiving 100 to 200 visits a day, he was duplicating his success but with
a different niche and twist in each one. One of Gary's forte is to design websites
and blog custom themes which is somthing I need to learn to do.
On top of this he is also earning revenue through Affiliate programs through
his blogs. However, he does caution people to adhere to Google's rules.
If you get banned your income will drop like a rock. This is the focus of his
second Blogging tip where he has all his eggs in the one basket with Google
AdSense and decided to get into "list building" where he can market to
subscribers coming in from all his blogs through "sign-up" forms.
Now, where I am building a Home Business through Affiliate Marketing, this
new avenue that Garry has taken, is something I can relate to and make work.
"It's all in the list!"
Why have I chosen Garry's blogging tips over countless others. I guess I just
like the way it's presented and his "style". Just like Alan LeStourgeon's blog
Affiliate Confession, I seem to relate to it and understand what he is trying
to get across in his articles.

Hi Gord!
Wow, what can I say? I am so happy to discover that my writing and tips are helping you. I absolutely love your blog and really enjoy your writing especially the aviation and airplane categories. You've got yourself a really amazing career. I know you've been doing it awhile so it's like an everyday thing for you, but I think having the education and skill to work on airplanes is really awesome. I especially enjoyed reading this post:

Thank you Garry for the compliment, now...if I can get as accomplished as you at
Blogging and earning an income from it. It's a skill that thousands of people
online would like to master but can't understand it and probably never will.

This isn't all peachy. There are many days when I'd rather be hanging out in a hangar smelling the wonderful oder of kerosene. LOL!!!

Hello Gord
I think I came across this post from technorati. I do believe multiple websites/blogs are a part of the strategy, but I don't think the template is super crucial as long as it's optimized to display adsense well (if we're talking adsense not affiliate work). But I believe the key to adsense income, affiliate income, BANS sites income is all about ranking well, with chosen keywords and optimizing a site very well with that high value word/s. There are blogs that 1 or 2 blogs that cover this well for FREE like courtneytuttle. I use PPC to achieve the same results but organic traffic is cheaper.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my Blog and offering
your valuable advise. I visited your site for a few minutes and got
caught up in your biography, you have led an interesting life so far.
I'm coming back to read your "I'll Help You Make Money" series. Once
you get the "optimizing" thing figured out with Keywords and Phrases,
it falls into place...I'm still working on that.

Hey thanks Gord!
I appreciate all the time you took to check out what I'm doing. I'm a little behind this week because a fallen tree took out my internet-but I went out and played lumberjack this morning, so I'm almost ready to get going again.
