Answering A Reader's Question

I received an email from a reader recently wondering why I don't have Google Adsense
on my Blog and offered to show me the way to maximize the presence of the Ads.

Where are the Google Ads?

I thanked him for the offer and replied that Adsense was not for me at this time because
I am into MLM marketing and Referral-based Affiliate companies and would like my readers
to stay on my site.

What did I mean by the reply? Websites and Blogs that are optimized with Google Ads are
actually a distraction if they're purpose is presenting a MLM company or Matrix-driven program.
My "baby" is FIG or Financial Independence Group and I post the occasional article about
the company and there is always the "Squid" on my sidebar if a reader wants more information.

Too many questions and doubts

Would it make sense for me to have a "skyscraper" of Google Ads adjacent to my article that is
is not about a company in my "Home Business"? Google Ads that have headlines that read
"MLM is dead" or "What your Upline is not telling you" is just defeating the purpose of my
presentation. If my business is a subscription for $17.00 a month and an Ad is within eyesight
of the reader that reads "Onetime payment of $5.00 for your path to millions"...it's just putting
too many questions and doubts in your reader's mind.

It would be like a "Burger King" commercial with McDonalds, Wendy's, and Kentucky Fried Chicken
Ads scrolling down the side of the screen.

Staying Focused

I have to admit, Bloggers, that post their monthly commissions from Google Adsense and other
Affiliates programs, makes me envious and perhaps in the future I will expand into other Blogs
that fit that purpose but for now it's all about staying focused with my business plan. As you
probably noticed, I don't use my Blog just for business and enjoy expressing myself on other
subjects. Hey! That's what Blogging is all about.
