The Matrix

Matrix driven compensation plans look enticing to a new Business shopper and they
are designed to do just that. The idea is to fill the reader's mind with dollar signs.

When I am reviewing potential Business Opportunities I have a different attitude from
when I first started online. Now I have a look at what the Business is all about and
what product I would be promoting as an Affiliate, then look at the compensation plan.
In the beginning it was straight to how the money is made and the actual opportunity after.

Remember these are all "niche" products...travel, wellness, hosting, advertising and the
list goes on. You will find that a product you are actually going to need and use is the best
to "sell" to potential prospects for your business. If you don't believe in the product the
company is selling and just in for the compensation it's going to be tough. especially
if a customer or potential Affiliate asks what your experience with "the product" is.
Well....?

The average person supplied with an Affiliate site is going to find it difficult to bring people
into his or her matrix just by using "free" methods. Don't rely on overspill and although it
does happen, don't count on it to build your business.

OK...you really believe in the product and your pursuing every avenue you know but
signups are far and few between. That's where Downline Builders and Leveraging programs
come in. These programs get a downline under you in a variety of ways, either by paid
COOP advertising or small monthly fees to assist in the funding to advertise and build your
matrix

Look at almost every successful company out there online which are household names
among Marketers. Resourceful members are starting downline building programs of their
own and even setting up mini-matrices where enrollees get paid while waiting for members
to follow them into the "primary" company matrix.

For this Blogger this is the recommended method but a word of caution. The majority
of downline builders require you to join them before joining the company in question.
Once you are a member and you see a "builder" program enrolling people like crazy
and would like to join they may want you to quit and lose your position in the company
matrix to join under them and restart your organization.

To avoid this situation seek out a Downline Builder that you prefer for the company or
program you are interested in. Where?...Forums are good place to start like MoneyMakerGroup
or Profit Seekers Network

More about Downline Builders in my next article and a program that explains how building a
matrix on your own can be difficult.
