What Does It Take For This Affiliate To Quit A Program?
FIG or Financial Independence Group has a very "do able" plan and strategy but
there is something that is missing.
One of the most important factors in being an Affiliate of a company or program is
communication between members and Admin/support or both. Another factor, way
up near the top of the list, if not at the top, is interaction between an Upline and
downline members.
When I joined FIG back in January of 2008 I had prior emails from my Upline and
then when I joined not a peep. At that moment, my instincts were telling me back out
of this program now but I reviewed all the material and it looked and still is a sound plan
to build a Home Business.
So...I carried on and began promoting the program. the next hic up came when I wasn't
receiving any updates or communication from the Admin. Again, the silent alarms were
going off but I didn't bother to react and shot off an email to a member further up the line.
There are no emails just communication by phone was the reply I was sent. Weird, but if
that's the way it is...that's the way it is.
Here is where some problems began to pop up as I began building a downline. Members
that were "active" were becoming a bit frustrated with the lack of information coming their
way. I am all there for my downline members and have communicated that to them in
every correspondence I sent and when they couldn't get answers to their questions
or problems they asked me. I phoned the office and got answers for them but when
it comes down to it...there should be no need for this.

I put up with that because I believe in helping my members. However, one member of
mine got very upset and quit when he was informed that only 2 of his 8 members were
actually in his downline after receiving confirmation emails that they were. I found out
that they never paid their monthly fee and were not entered into his matrix. A simple
email to my member from Admin would of informed him what happened to his members
and avoided all this. This is really not the way to run an online business
You can see where I coming from...poor support, no online updates, and an unresponsive
Upline. 3 key factors that are making my efforts to build this business very difficult. Why am
I putting up with this? Not for much longer. I am informing my members that I have moved
on to a new program that is everything FIG isn't. Bi-weekly conferences and regular updates
in my backoffice. Details and reports on my members and statistics.
I have been talking to my Upline almost everyday since I joined and he has a responsive
Upline as well. I don't like to quit programs but if I am losing members, then I have no choice.
I will stay with FIG for one more month to give time for my downline to be aware of my desicion.
I will explain more about this new program in my next article but in the meantime feel free to
browse and have a look at BBS Global Diamond Elite
