In-House Forums And Taking The Good With The Bad
I am a member of a few programs that have in-house Forums and I guess that's a
good thing...or is it?
In MLM programs it is common where "free" members and upgraded, or "pro" members,
have access to the Forum set up by an Administrator. When I had a question or just wanted
to research a topic, I would look at the topics and threads in the Forum. I don't do that very
often now.
Often I would find the answer I am looking for and see positive threads where a member is
doing good with the payout she has posted for this month but you see a lot of negative
comments as well. You have probably seen them. "I am not seeing the results this program
has advertised" or "the majority of my Referrals are inactive and some are leaving...HELP!"
What kind of impression does that have on a new Referral I just brought into this program?
They enter with anticipation and full of vigor..."this is going to work no matter what." After
reading some of those negative comments there will probably be a hint of doubt starting to
creep into my member's mind. "This is just like the last program I left."
No matter how well members are doing or highly respected the program is, there are those
that just can't get it going and give up. This is the part I can't comprehend about having a Forum.
It's all about getting a person interested enough to join a program in the beginning and keeping
all the media on a positive note. After all, they are my bread and butter and it's my job to show
them how to succeed.
As far as I am concerned, it just makes my job harder if they venture off into the Forum and
start reading comments from members that are venting their complaints to the Admin and
anybody who wants to join in on the bandwagon. You know how negative vibes spread...
just watch the news.

Personally, I am not going into a Forum and complain. Let's face it, the majority of programs
out there today there have almost as many going out the door as there is coming in and you
can't put "blinders" on people. No! No! Don't look over there or don't read that. There is just
too much competition and... "Hey! Come join over here, you'll make more money!", which has
everybody running around in circles not getting anywhere.
In conclusion, I would get rid of the in-house Forums and look for answers through Uplines and
support tickets to the program's Administrator(s). If those options don't work, than I suggest
you look for a business that will.

If you want a prime example go visit the NeoBux forum. I have never seen a bigger bunch of whiners.
Hey Oldbuddy,
Welcome back! My point exactly...negative comments just seem to attract attention and who wants
a new referral to get exposed to that.
