The events that follow would of been appropriate on Halloween night but the 
Great Altsurf Scare happened yesterday on a Sunday, the 2nd of November.

I joined Altsurf because of my ability to compound my earnings where the program
offered daily cashout's over $2 for Upgraded members. It was running along
smoothly too, until a I received an email from the Admin with just the title...
payouts are on Sundays. There was no explanation and sure enough, when I
checked my pending payment for the day, it was rescheduled to the upcoming
Sunday.

That caused my eyebrow to raise and also my suspicion that something was
not going as planned for the program's cashflow. After a couple days of debating
I planned my last cashout and will exit the program while it is still paying.

Fast forward to yesterday morning(Sunday)...logged into the site and noticed
the cashout link was not available and Sunday pending payment was in it's
place. Geez...I don't like this and went off for looking for answers in the Forums
I frequent. The threads for Altsurf were heating up with a mix of irate members
and others that were trying to add some calm to the situation stating the Admin
will eventually come through and payout.

This brings me to another point that sticks in my craw...why post in a public forum
and not send me and members an email of what the situation is and when payouts
are going to commence. Save a lot of headache for everyone involved.

Anyway... silence all day from Altsurf's Admin until late afternoon when I received an
email from Alertpay that I had funds....payment from Altsurf. I was curious about
what was going on in the MMG Forum and went over for a visit. The thread was
filling up with payment proofs from members and all was forgiven by the majority
of the people that were posting. Other's had mixed feelings about the whole affair.

Was the Admin waiting until that final hour to issue payouts as a tactic to drum
up publicity for his program. I would think so...he went from a scam artist to becoming
"The Man!" in a few hours. However, I am not into guessing games and someone
jerking my chain with my money so I'll wait until next Sunday...cashout and move on.

Oh...the payout request link is back on my member's site after my payment was issued
but I don't plan to use it until my current upgrade expires this week. I noticed members
reported in the Forum that they immediately requested another payout forgetting that
they cannot request another payment until Sunday after pending cashouts are issued
and then that will not be issued until the following Sunday. Caution and looking at the 
payment schedule must be taken into consideration here, not only with Altsurf but
similar programs as well. Again, this is left up to the member to figure out, prompting me
to give Altsurf... thumbs down.
